How it works

  1. Choose your day

Choose a day and a time, and send your request. Then we email you so you can pay, and the time is yours.

  2. Patty does your make-up

She takes her time and tells you what she is doing. She also does your hair, or a wig. Tell us your wishes when you book, so we can prepare.

  3. Laurens takes your photos

Laurens sets the light and helps you pose. You get time to get used to your new look. Your photos come to you in a private link.

Who you’ll meet

Patty

Make-up & hair

Patty does your make-up and hair, and tells you what she is doing. So you see the result, and you also learn to do it yourself.

Laurens

Photographer

Laurens takes the photos: sets the light, helps you pose and gives you time. Until you look at the screen and like what you see.

Light, not a filter

Photography means “writing with light”. A filter guesses how you should look. Laurens looks at how you really look.

A filter

  • It is a layer on top of your photo. It is gone when you put your phone away.
  • It does not know you. It changes every face in the same way.
  • It starts with a phone close to your face. So close, the lens makes your nose look bigger.
  • It does not see what is happening.

With us

  • Patty’s make-up is on your skin. You see it in the mirror, and you take it home with you.
  • Laurens sets the light for your face. Light and shadow give it shape, and nothing looks fake.
  • Our camera is a few metres away. Your face keeps its real shape.
  • Laurens sees the moment you relax and stop posing.

You’re welcome here

Whatever your body, your age or where you are from. Just tell us before your visit what you hope for.

Every body
Tall, short, big, round or slim: we work with your body, not against it. You don’t have to hide anything or lose weight first.
Every age
From 16, and you are never too old. Your first time can be at seventy.
Every background
Every skin colour, every religion, and everyone you love. Your name and your pronouns are yours to choose.
What you need
Do you use a wheelchair? Tell us before your visit, and we make sure you can get in. Are stairs or walking hard for you? Is noise or bright light too much? Do you need more quiet, or something else? Tell us before, and we will find a way together.

Read who comes to us

Private, from start to end

You decide who knows about your visit. We keep it that way.

Your name, your choice
We only ask what we can call you, your email address and, if you want, your pronouns. We don’t need the name in your passport.
Plain emails
Our emails have a simple subject, like “Your appointment on …”. Do you want a neutral description with the payment? Tell us and we will take care of it.
The address a few days before
Your session is in Rotterdam. A few days before, we send you the address and a list of what to bring. It is not online anywhere.
Your photos are yours
You get them privately. We never put them online or in our portfolio without your written permission.
We delete your details
We delete your details 12 months after your appointment. If you don’t finish a booking, we delete them after one month.

Questions

Your question is not here? Email us: hello@frameyourbeauty.com

Staying the night in Rotterdam?

Is this for me?

Probably yes. People of every age, size and background come to us. You don’t need a word for who you are. Not sure? Email us, and you get a personal answer.

I have never done this before. Is that okay?

Yes, of course. You decide the speed. We explain what we do. You can always take a break or change your mind.

What should I bring?

Clothes and shoes you feel good in. We have wigs, but no clothes or shoes. When you book, you tell us which look you want and what you want to try, so Patty can prepare. You have nothing yet? Write it down, and we help you plan.

Can I book only a photoshoot, without make-up?

Yes. It costs about the same as the session. The price depends on where you want the photos taken. Email us, and we plan it together.

Can I come in a wheelchair?

Yes. Tell us before your visit, and we make sure the place is accessible for you.

How do I pay?

You send a request on the site and pay nothing yet. Then we email you a payment request. The time is yours when your payment arrives; until then, we keep it for you. If you don’t pay within 7 days, we may give the time to someone else.

Can I change the date or cancel?

Yes, for free, up to 7 days before. Just reply to your confirmation email. Later than that? Then we find a solution together.

Who sees my photos?

Only you, and us while we edit them. You get them in a private link. We never share them without your written permission.

Is there a minimum age?

Yes, 16. Are you younger? Then email us first. With written permission from your parent or guardian, we look at what is possible together. For a boudoir set you must be 18 or older.

Does my day always go ahead?

We rent a place per day. A day goes ahead with two bookings, or with one Glow Up booking. If your day is not full 10 days before, you choose: another date, Glow Up for the difference, or your money back in full.

Can I divide the time differently?

Yes. Do you want more time for make-up? Then the photoshoot is a bit shorter, or the other way around. You decide. Tell us before your visit, and we plan it that way.

How do I know my booking is confirmed?

Right after your request, you get an email. When your payment is in, you get a confirmation with the date, the time and a calendar file. The link in that email shows your appointment.

You don’t have to wait until you feel ready.

Pick a date. We bring the glitter.
